Biography
Vanessa Rivas is an attorney at Doyle Quane. She practices predominantly family law and is dedicated to assisting her clients through all aspects of divorce and other family legal matters with empathy and expertise.
Originally from Sacramento, California, Vanessa graduated from UC Berkeley in 2018. In 2017-2018, she interned at the Self-Help Center at the Superior Court in Alameda, predominantly in family law. That experience through JusticeCorps fueled her passion to pursue family law. After graduating, Vanessa moved back to Sacramento where she did nonprofit accounting full time before law school. She then relocated to San Francisco to attend USF School of Law, where she was awarded the CALI Award for achieving the highest grade in Family Law. During her law school summers, she worked at Doyle Quane as a Law Clerk, gaining hands-on experience in the firm’s family law matters. Vanessa is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive representation to individuals navigating challenging family law issues.
In her free time, Vanessa enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her family and her cat.
